It’s been a very busy month with lots of long days, stating early and finishing late…still editing at 2am so my clients have their images for first thing the next working day.
I wouldn’t change it for the world, as I sit here in my kitchen looking out on a lovely sunny morning listening to the radio working away.
Being self-employed is fantastic not for everyone but certainly for this photographer, still not bored and now in my 19th year as a freelancer!
A few images from June, I choose them for many different reasons, how good the light was on a specific shoot, the people oh and the people, working across so many diverse industries is such a pleasure and an insight.
meeting them all from apprentice electricians all the way up to the CEO and everyone in-between, I always enjoy a good chat with them before I start taking a picture.

The iconic Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow has given their champagne bar a bit of a makeover.
Nice wee job for a Friday morning with former Miss Scotland and TV presenter, Jennifer Reoch.
Love this iconic Champagne Bar with all it’s history and the old style décor mixed in with a blend of 21st century luxury.
Great shoot photographing the refurbished bar where the likes of Frank Sinatra and Fred Astaire enjoyed a wee tipple!

One of my New Years resolutions was to post more on my blog, so this is my third post this year…not not sure if I should congratulate myself or not!
For the past three years I have covered the Scottish Game Fair at Scone, Perthshire a lovely part of the country. This year I was the sole official photographer tasked with getting all the press, PR and marketing photography over three days.
It’s long days and hard work (over the three days I walked 14.5 miles) but so rewarding, I love this event so many great picture opportunities to be had!
10 years of Oloroso

What a great way to send a Sunday afternoon.
10th anniversary party of the Edinburgh Restaurant Oloroso, owned by top Scottish chef Tony Singh.
As per usual Tony’s knows how to celebrate, and the food was just out of this world! From the Vietnamese tiger prawns to the traditional stovies.
A perfect day in Edinburgh, standing outside on the balcony overlooking Edinburgh Castle with a glass or two of champagne at the end of October….
A great thanks to Tony and all his staff for the great food and dining experience over the last 10 years!
